(Youth Empowerment Network – YEN)
1. Purpose
This policy outlines the roles, responsibilities, and expectations for volunteers associated with Youth Empowerment Network (YEN).
2. Nature of Volunteering
Volunteering with YEN is voluntary and does not constitute employment, contractual, or financial relationships.
3. Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers are expected to:
- Uphold YEN’s values and mission
- Act professionally and ethically
- Respect confidentiality of beneficiaries
- Follow organizational guidelines
- Use YEN’s name responsibly
4. Code of Conduct
Volunteers must:
- Treat all individuals with dignity and respect
- Avoid discrimination or harassment
- Maintain integrity in all activities
5. Training & Support
YEN may provide training, orientation, and resources to support volunteers in performing their roles effectively.
6. Termination of Volunteer Role
YEN reserves the right to discontinue volunteer association in case of misconduct, policy violations, or misuse of organizational identity.
7. Safety
Volunteers must follow safety guidelines during events, field activities, and community programs.
