Youth Empowerment Network (YEN) is committed to ensuring the safety, protection, and well-being of children participating in our programs.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all staff, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders involved in YEN activities.
3. Principles
YEN believes that:
- Every child has the right to safety and dignity
- Child protection is a shared responsibility
- Zero tolerance for abuse, exploitation, or neglect
4. Prohibited Conduct
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Physical, emotional, or sexual abuse
- Harassment or exploitation of children
- Unauthorized photography or sharing of child data
- Inappropriate communication with minors
5. Safe Interaction Guidelines
Personnel must:
- Maintain professional boundaries
- Obtain consent before photographing children
- Ensure adult supervision during activities
6. Reporting Concerns
Any suspicion or incident of child abuse must be reported immediately to YEN management for appropriate action.
